I have been coaching for the past year in Apex Legends, teaching others how to improve their aim, movement, mechanics and awareness in-game. The highest Rank i have achieved in Apex is Masters (multiple times) but never gone for pred as i don't have the time for it. I am a well-experienced comp player who loves to deliver my skills to others who want it.
Coaching tutorials for Aiming and Movement are amazing but for mechanics and strategy a little less. The reason for this is that every game of apex is different and it's easy to say "do this and do that" on a video when you don't know the situation that someone may be in in-game. Proper 1 on 1 coaching is the best option if you are trying to Improve Mechanics or strategy when in apex. Videos i recommend for Aiming and Movement especially if your on Controller are my videos! I have a Movement and Aiming Guide on my YT channel (MrInstinctt) that are super helpful if you want to improve your movement or aiming on a controller. For those mouse and keyboard players, i'm not sure but Youtube is your best option.
I like to break my coaching session down into 4 parts. Aiming, Movement, Mechanics and Strategy. I ask the client which out of those 4 parts they feel they struggle with the most and then prioritize my session around that part. Using that information, i can then suit the clients needs to improve in the game while also helping them in other aspects of the game too.
I am flexible and am confident on most legends in the game. The legend that the client is playing doesn't really matter unless they are playing in a ranked setting. I will give out recommendations on what legends are meta and what legends suit the playstyle of the client best.

I use the knowledge and understanding of the game i have to review and provide feedback on the performance of others. I also like to do VOD review where i review past gameplay of my clients and give them additional support on mistakes made.in their gameplay.
One tip i give out to teams that want to learn to communicate better as a team is to take time to listen to others and adapt on working with each other. I see so many teams that shout out comms to each other but don't actually take in any of the information their team is giving them so the comms are just useless. The person who is most confident within the game and has the best knowledge and understanding of the game is the person who needs to be the IGL (In-game leader). They need to take control of all calls and decisions made in the game to help the team follow a path. This allows the team to then be more coordinated and make better plays.
I am very flexible when it comes to the clients tools and software's that the client can use so i involve the tools and communications that works best for them. Discord is a popular communication tool across all players when it comes to gaming so that is the most common tool used. I try to utilize old gameplay from the client and help them work on old mistakes as well.
Discord is definitely the most used software that i use for my coaching. Screen sharing is another amazing feature about discord which makes my coaching and analysis of gameplay much easier. My top advice for new players though is too practice, practice and practice. The firing range is the most useful tool when it comes to improving in apex so spending as much time in there, warming up and practicing aim is so important for your skill in-game.
I coach all game modes. Again if the client requests ranked play, i will run through a few ranked games with them to help them climb the ranks. Some people like to play apex more causally so teaching them how to take fights in public matches or in mixtape is an option i also provide.
